My cousin came over again today. I went and played some hockey with the boys and when I returned he was still over. I saw him in the living room playing with some stickers and markers. Instead of going inside to take pictures of him, I stayed outside and shot through the living room window. Probably the best one Ive taken of him yet.

Thanks Gem and Casil. This guy is my people/portrait practice. Its not excatly my strong point. I prefer sports, abstract, and landscape. I really start to struggle with this kind of stuff.

Gem, when I framed the image, I used the eyedropper and selected a color off of his hair. Looking at it now, I think I probably should have gone with a lighter color.

Nice light/shadow work there JJ. I'd love it totally if the eyes were lighter but it's cool just the same.

Okay. I wasn't going to say this but well, what the heck, OMG is it me or do I really see a lot of you in him?

Great play with the light! These are my favorite type of shots. I can play with the light from the window and portraits for hours!
