Where I am, it is forecast to be 45 degrees C today and here I am wondering if my pool is too cold for a dip before work.

Thanks for the laugh - I've used it before, lol.
Go pro to my chest - no f-way. Temp was -18 C with windchill factor, something like -26 C.
300mm end of my zoom on dry land - bundled up as one does in such brrrrrr.

They have to be crazy to be doing that at those temperatures. In fact some people would probably think that you are crazy being out in -18C on dry land taking their picture
