    Default "Courir de Mardi Gras"

Unlike the fanfare, formal balls, and parades of the Mardi Gras in New Orleans, the "Courir de Mardi Gras" is a 200 year old tradition in Mamou, LA. Early in the morning, (Very Drunk) riders in costumes set out on horseback, begging for ingredients to make a gumbo for the town Mardi Gras festival. I had never attended it until today. These guys were crazy.

Thanks Marko. The chicken wing man probably represents the scene better than all others. #1 is a close second for representation, as well as the last one.
