Default Fiddler in the Window (Nudity)

This one is for Runmonty. Seems it was not that hard, yet there are two flashes with with umbrellas reflecting light from the right and left of the model. So, since I was by myself, quite an ordeal to get the flashes right, then get the shot from 50 yards away in the freaking messy field. But it was fun, nonetheless.

    this is a crop

Thanks Matt. I am sure that others will enjoy this as well.

Well, you certainly do like a challenge don't you? That is definitely an ambitious set up. It works really well though. Congratulations.

When I eventually make it over your way I will come and be your assistant for a day or a second shooter.

Thanks Marko. Not sure if the tonal finishing on this makes it sing more than the original color version ... for one reason or another I like it this way, though

I know absolutely nothing when it comes to lighting and working with models so I don't feel comfortable commenting on those technical aspects. I will limit my comments to the estetic aspects as I see them.
I do like the concept and I prefer the first one over the crop as I like seeing the setting with that old house. I also like the processing.

Thanks for the kind words, and I am glad you like the processing. I also prefer the full image over the crop ...

Overall I like it. (But... isn't there always a but?) I'd like to see the fiddler's hand blurred a little so we know she's playing, to me it just looks like she's standing there holding a position, not moving. Also, there's something about her bow grip that just doesn't look right, or maybe it's the full frontal of her position, if she's playing violin while gazing out the window, she should be turned either left shoulder towards the camera, or right if she's looking down and out. I realize she'd be hard to see if she wasn't so brightly lit, but she shines like a beacon out that window in a way that looks artificially placed, would it work better if her face and instrument were more brightly lit rather than her breasts and pelvis?

I hope this doesn't sound too critical, I do like the image, and thank you for posting it!
