"You have to milk the cow quite a lot, and get plenty of milk to get a little cheese." Henri Cartier-Bresson from The Decisive Moment.
Cool title and I like the juxtaposition of the peaceful tai chi in a harsh urban environment (I am assuming that it is tai chi and not just a coincidence of similar body positions). Shadows are great too
Ok, it's tai chi. I couldn't figure it out and thought they were battling high winds (no joke, that's what I thought).
"The worst thing about taking a great image is that your next one has to be better!"
Like AT, I was confused and thought the same thing, until Runmonty mentioned it was tai chi. Now I get the "juxtaposition of the peaceful tai chi in a harsh urban environment" and it makes perfect sense.
The tai chi might have been more obvious if she wasn't new at it. I too like this one. And the harsh morning light is making some awesome shadows. Strong light on this one but her face and her right hand and hat highlights seem a little over exposed. Pretty minor stuff in a very cool shot.
