Default Ring bearer not happy at Ottawa wedding

Just before having the bride, flower girls and ring bearer sit down for a quasi posed shot, I noticed that the ring bearer was annoyed about having to wear that hat. As I habitually do, I made a point of grabbing this shot before getting the 'real' one. As usual, the 'proper' photo doesn't add nearly as much to the narrative of the day as this version does. Poor dude, though. I think he got over it judging by his expression during the processional.

Reminds me of my son....if he knows you're taking a picture, forget about a normal expression....

^Haha. I guess you have to resort to the same trick I did in this case (because I did get a 'normal' shot next photo) which is to basically pretend you've got the photo and you're done and then to sneakily click again. The funny thing is that my clients generally prefer these behind-the-scenes authentic responses to the ones in the 'normal' shot.

Ha Ha. Yes these moments are the ones that make the day and provide the individualized memories. His expression is great as he is the only male in the shot.
