Decided to take a walk-a-bout but without much inspiration or any idea where I would go had this little rocket practically fall into my lap. Trying out Topaz's latest offering, Topaz Restyle.

Since people were involved in two out of three of these I chose the People section to post in.
When was the last time a rocket popped up mid-town in your city? Never you say?

Really like the first shot showing all the interaction in getting this pulled off.
I really do envy you and others in the cities some times, as there is so much variety to shoot, and so much interesting architecture, and angles, (which I love). Our problem is when we go there, can't wait to get out and away from the hustle-bustle of the "Yes I am the most important individual in the world and everyone must get out of my way, as I am in a rush" types driving/walking around.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

Amazing stuff. I gotta get out more ... Love shot 3, also

Thanks, all! The outside of the rocket has an intentional retro look to pique interest but the inside has all the bells and whistles an actual astronaut would be using. Beakerhead is designed to mix art, science and engineering and bring these to the community. Here is their blurb page:
What is Beakerhead? Art, science and engineering come together Sept 11
HBGirl, I can sympathize. When I see you and hubby's nature shots - of birds especially- or read Mike Drew's columns in the Sun, I think, I should get a truck and move to Longview, Alberta but then I remember how citified I am and leave the country stuff to the experts.![]()
These are great exposures and I do like the processing. We were down there later in the evening and they were projecting laser lights on the rocket surface. Cool effect.

Cool shots. I think my favourite is the first one. Makes me think of the old Buck Rogers spaceship. (I guess that kind of dates me)
