I'm certainly no expert at this but thought I would see what I could come up with (seeing as you gave us the OK). Mucked around for a few minutes in Lightroom / Silver Efex Pro and this is what I came up with.

Nothing wrong with that. It is a nice conversion. I like yours too asnow.

I enjoy the editing process so I had go too. Here is mine, but I am not too sure about it.

Interesting to see the different results. Nice stuff. Anyone else?

So did I. Looks like you used High Structure Smooth with an orange filter with # 13 tone. No lens fall-off.

No, really. What did you do, because what you ended up with looks a lot like what I did. Anyway, it is nice.

If I remember I used one of the canned vintage options and removed the vignetting. Then in Lightroom I warmed it up a bit to tone down the sepia and added a touch of grain as I thought old film would have a bit of grain.

Really like this one Iggy, but Asnow's edit really makes it for me. I would like to see it as Marko suggested, without the lamp though.

Edit away... there's a link to the full size JPG or if anyone is really crazy I'll flip you a copy of the CR2 file.

Correction - I "cooled" it a bit to tone down the sepia. i.e make it a little less yellow.

I always like to play with bw so I was glad you made the offer for anyone to try. This is my version. May not be any better than yours but just different. Thanks the opportunity!
