    Default Set No Limits

October is Bathurst 1000 time. For most red-blooded Australian and New Zealand males (and some sheila's too) this means the pinnacle of motor racing in this country.
The Mt Panorama circuit is world renown and truly an amazing race-track.
My father, brothers, and I have watched the 1000 km race each year on TV religiously. We sit still for 6 1/2 hours no other time during the year.
With my fathers recent cancer battles, followed by severe heart and lung issues, and my youngest brother's ongoing cancer and nerve tumour battle, it was going to be a battle of another kind to get us all to the race-track to see the race live some 13 hours drive away.
    Road trip!
I could go on and on about that week camping with my dad and two brothers but this thread is about the dream of driving around the race-track.
    We weren't allowed.
So ... even though the gradient up and down is as much as 1m in every 6m we stuck dad in the wheelchair, grabbed some rope, the camera's, and went did a lap.
What an effort ... but we had fun

Oh No!! The Rock! Watch Out For the Rock!!!
Yes, corny as it is folks ... this is our tribute to Dick Johnson's two big crashes at Mt Panorama, the Rock as he exited the Cutting going up, and the wall clip that sent him into the trees as he exited Forrest Elbow and started down Conrod Straight. - taken Oct 2012, Mt Panorama, Bathurst, NSW

There has never been a wheelchair nailing the apexes and setting speeds like this around the famous motor-racing venue

Super set MA. Love the sense of motion. If images are to be judged by ones emotional response when viewing - you have a winning set here
