    Default First flights

Ray had a barbecue at his hangar weekend before last. He took several people up in his Cub. For the little kids, it was their first airplane ride. For the big kid, it was his first ride in a Cub. And Walter was just his usual happy self.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

Gets better. The next day Ray dropped all his leftovers off at the Warhawk's maintenance hangar. So the crew hauled out the grill and held their own barbecue. The Show and Shine had been on Saturday. All in all, a busy holiday weekend.

Everybody likes Walter. I'd guess he's at least a retriever mix - hunting breeds are popular here. He's also very well behaved. All that food on the table, and he didn't try to swipe any of it. He didn't even beg.
