    Default Holiday

Hi everyone, sorry I've not been about much of late....you know the story though.... to much work and not enough time for my own projects...

I've just got back from my camping holiday and thought I'd share a few. I wanted a break, so for the first week I didn't pick up my camera, the second week it rained a lot, and the camera mostly stayed in the car....

Anyway on the days I did shot I wanted to practice more with natural light, so these are all simple shots with just a gold/white reflector. (Thanks Iggy for the chase, it's good to be back!)

Nice set Richard! The expression in shot 1 makes it my fave of the set. I might burn the top by about 10% - aside from that fab image. Reflector is doing a wonderful job here.

Wonderful set, Richard love the first one as well. I like the overexposed background look. It is very trendy in "Lifestyle" type shots and it is very pretty look.

Nice set Richard. Shot 1 is the stand out for me. I also very much like the highlights at the top of the image.

All three are great portraits specially first one. Last two are for my taste little over sharpened. What is good for eyes but not for skin and hair.

Thanks for all the comments, much appreciated...

I think the over-sharpening is being highlighted when flickr rescales the images... It's not so apparent in lightroom, or on the original files... but I'll definitely watch out for that in the future....

Excellent set.... the intensity in her expression and the use of light in the first shot definitely makes it stand out. Very nice images and welcome back!
