I waited until the last game to take it, so I cannot re-take. The light is very hard because of the high Sun.
Here is the original, and my attempt at a "Team Poster" edit. Any suggestions? I want to do it, just looking for some way to help the image

I would play with it more, I cannot tell you I would do until I was playing with it. What do use for post processing? Also I hope you shoot in RAW, I played with it for a minute just wanted to see something. You can fix it somewhat more if you still have the RAW image and lightroom.

Down load lightroom and color efex there free for 30 days and give it a shot I think you will like what you can come up with. Not saying that what you have already done the parent won't like I think they would be happy with what you have done.
Looks very nice now Antique. Good job.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
Bringing out the shadows of their faces helped a lot. Nicely done!
