Really well done, you should print off a small copy and keep it with you to give her should you at some other time bump into her, may not happen but I bet you would make her very happy.

Thanks, AL. I'd already thought of doing that but hadn't gotten it done yet... I'll do it this weekend.
Thanks, Richard.
Lovely shot, lovely face. Since I do quite a bit of city photography, I often run into "homeless" people, street people. I generally do not intentionally photograph them, but you would be surprised how many actually ask to be photographed. I think it gives them a bit of identity in a world where they are often ignored, nameless and overlooked.
Thanks, JAS. Yeah, you can go a block in downtown Halifax without being hit up for change. I'm polite and respond to them either way but many simply walk past and ignore them. Very rude behaviour in my mind.
It really is a beautiful picture. I really like how bright her eyes are, he whole image feels very empowering.
Thank you, bucket.
Very well done Iggy, and I agree with Bucket. Seems her life may not be the grandest, but those eyes show so much life in them.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
