What sort of fish would he catch there? And is that natural haze? Or smog?
MA- right now the salmon and some brown trout are coming up to the spawning beds at Port Dalhousie, later in the colder weather the Steelhead will arrive and winter here till the spring ( last year they pen raised a few thousand salmon smolts to imprint the location on them to encourage natural reproduction). Rest of the year you can catch bass, pickerel, pike and on the rare chance a muskie.
And for AL and Greg R trying to guess the local - it is the east pier of Port Dalhousie in St. Catherines, Ontario

It's amazing how far you can see the CN tower from. I was fooled. I guessed the same as Greg "Hamilton/Stoney Creek along the bike path" and was obviously wrong.
