Default The First of Five Million Footsteps

This is the plaque on top of Springer Mountain here in Georgia that marks the beginnings of the Appalachian Trail. Thousands have started out from here with the goal of making it to main, only a quarter of them make it. Our scouts though are starting out their quest to hike the GA section over the next few months and got their start yesterday.

Nice play here! very much like the OOF bkgd and the concept of the shot!
But the lighting on the sign makes it a bit hard to read.
The blue/white rubbish to the left of the sign is a distraction for me, I'd burn it or clone it out if it were mine.

It has gotten hard to read in any light over the last 60 years of sitting on top of the mountain. I wish I could have seen it back in the days when it was still bronze. The white rubbish though is actually an intrical part of the story, it is the first of thousands of the single white blazes that marks the trial.
