    Default a singular photo op...

Today was the big parade day with the guest of honour being the Governor General of Canada. He came to the reception as well. Next thing I know my son and his friend are with him and he's offering to pose for a photo. I had to act quickly to get this. I know the background is busy but one does not ask the GoC to move Either way, it's one for the family photo album.

my boy is the one on the right (with the gleam in his eye ).

Hehe - then you should have asked the "background" to move ;-). Nevertheless, thats a good shot under these hectically circumstances, Bambi!

Great selection of aperture to blur out the background people a bit which makes these shots just dandy. Well done, Proud Mama.

thanks Iggy. I actually did the blurring in post processing. it's not perfect and I want to take another crack at it but it was a learning curve.
