    Default Firefighting Pocket Shots

I call these my pocket shots because they were taken by whipping out the camera out of my gear and snapping a pic real quick. More times than not they are not good at all, every now and then I get lucky. I think I have taken my cameras into environments that might make a few of y'all wince! But the way I see it, the camera can be replaced, giving people a view into a world only a few of us get to see is something a price can't be placed on.

Comments and critiques always welcome. I can dig up some more if y'all would like.

Well you certainly get inside locations not many of us can. Nice action shots and surprisingly good for the situation you were in. Watch yourself. One of the best photos I've seen was taken by a 19 year old kid who worked summers on the forest fires.

What a really cool (or hot!) set. My favourite is the first one I think.

These are so neat. I really enjoy the black and white shot.

Very cool set! All are great but I love the second and fourth ones! I think Joe McNally would have been happy with any one of those. Well done!

Awesome "inside the scene" shots. Thanks for sharing Lizard. Another vote for #1 and #4 here.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

Very cool set indeed! I don't want to choose because I like them all. If I had to I'd go for 4.
