Partners forever. I saw this a few months ago on a walk through a very old cemetary and it's something that I remember everytime I drive by.

Possibly it was. Even now, it's fairly common for someone to die within a year of their spouse. For the times they were living in, though, I'd say they had a good long run.
Like Ellen, I hope I die soon after my wife if she goes first.
I hope my wife and i go together...preferably just after finishing my most favourite activity.
