Really cool, Michael. What lens is that - 10mm!?
Thanks Iggy...It's a 24mm strapped on the D700 with the full frame sensor. SB600 with umbrella to the right and a SB900 bounced of the left wall
It's has a really interesting tone to it and I like it. It reminds me of some of the Topaz something or other stuff I've seen.
I like how the light reflects off his arm hairs. In addition, it’s so clear. I bet I see clearer shots when I buy a new lens. I'm sticking with my kit lens for now. (Until I figure out some of the features on my camera.)
Happy Shooting
Peter
Very cool shot and coupled with the other they are a fun series!
Very interesting tones in this image. Quite like it. Especially the black rook, the most used piece of the set. Everything else is so nice and shiny, but that one looks like a battle hero to me

A painter takes their vision and makes it a reality. A photographer takes reality and makes it their vision.
Thanks Bambi, and all!...It occurs to me now that I caught a funny moment. Steve was playing himself to accommodate me and I caught him playing as his opponent. Oh well
