Looks like fun, MoinMoin, but if he's really jousting that looks like injuries waiting to happen! (No helm, chain for armor) Some of the Renaissance fairs do it here, as do some of the historical recreation societies. The SCA bans it, at least on the west coast, as being too hazardous to both rider and horse. At least, that was the case last time I heard.
