Caribbean Festival in North Vancouver

Last week was Caribbean Days in North Vancouver, and I went there to have some fun and take some photos.
The festival was split in two sides of the park. In one side was "food court" and where you could drink a beer, and with a DJ, and on the other side of the park was with "boutiques", little playland for kids and a band performing on a stage.
Was perfect with these sunny days.

















I used FUJI Velvia 50 filter in LR3 for most of the photos.
I hope I didn't add too many photos at once, I mean that it's not gonna be boring to look at.

What does the Velvia 50 filter do?

My guess - It should act like the slide film Fuji Velvia - which is a really punchy slide film that normally yields quite saturated colours. traditionally that slide film was better for landscapes than portraits as it played on the skin tones in portraits. JMO.

Ah ok ... I wasn't THAT into film. I did always use Fuji film for me landscpaes though because of the greens and blues it returned. Kodak was better for portraits for me, better yellows and reds.
