This thread isn't racing to completion, but it has been on my mind since Iguanasan started it. Perhaps it has to do with the organizing of the Public Photography day in September. I bought the t-shirt. And there are lots of public places full of people in Calgary these days.
It was exhilarating yesterday to take photos of all these strangers. Would I want someone to snap one of me and put it on the internet? I got thinking about the golden rule: do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Applying it here, I wouldn't mind a picture of me published anywhere without my knowledge unless: it was used for commercial gain, it was exploitive or used out of context or it was demeaning or clearly unflattering.
I must say it was strange to be trying to take pictures at a long distance, usually across a street, with the idea of capturing images to post here. Perhaps it's art... capturing the unself-conscious moment.
Then I had the problem of how to collate them. Eventually I settled on trying to use Lightroom 3, which I am evaluating. Made making a collage simple. Thoughts?

Spotted at folkfest:
Hey, Mike. I certainly appreciate your enthusiasm and you've created a very interesting set. JAS assumed there were only 10 because that's all that can be seen since your image is so wide. I hope you don't mind but I will leave the count there. My vision for the thread was that everyone might have a chance to contribute and it makes it difficult if two or three people fill it up in a couple of posts. So, JAS' photo will be #34 and we'll continue from there.

Sort of a one-for-two deal. It's fine. i wondered if the large collage might create a problem. We'll be at 100 in no time I'm sure. By the way, nice captures both JAS and Ig.

#36 The Baby
Quite a while bakc Greg and I went to Carburn Park in Calgary. Our Photoclub had an assignemet out: "Circle(s)". So we were on the hunt for such objects. We came to a playground, and yes, there were quite a number of circles there. This young mother with twins was there as well, and I asked if I could take a picture of one of the twins, soother and all (soother being the circle). So here it is:

As I was saying: circles was the theme. Here is Greg taking it to the limits again. This was in early spring, so it was none too warm. However, with him on the ground, I had the opportunity to capture a number of circles, where he only got one!
