    Default Definition of Frustration......

So as I said in antoher thread, I am out with my friend Terry this morning and we decide to go out on a shooting trip. I see the most amazing shots and take almost an 8G cards worth...I get home and realize that the dust storm from the other day got into the camera (even though I kept the same lens on and managed to cover the sensor with bits of stuff and all the shots I took have gads of leetle teensy tiinsee black specks all over them.
I have spent more time in lightroom over the last 3 photos in cleaning all the leetle teensy tinsee spots than I have ever spent on any photos...totally thinking of dumping them but they are just too cool with the clouded sun and the light...was all perfect...except for the spots!
SO here I am cleaning and hating it.
Springtime in Calgary can definitely be sucky....

Ouch! Sorry to hear that, casil. I haven't had a chance to review it yet but it seems like Marko's podcast is timely for you as he is discussing cleaning your camera!

    Thanks Ig....
I just ran the camera, the lenses and everything though the cleaning mill....I have every cleaning material known to mankind here at casa casil. I have cleaned the sensor before and many times...part of the territory when you live in the Canadian dust bowl.
All I have to do next is vacuum the backpack.
I knew it wouldn't be good when I had a mouth and noseful of grit from the dust the other day but I forgot to check before I left this morning how the camera fared....apparently not well.

OK but have you ever spent time trying to remove a "dust speck" on a shot only to discover you need to clean your monitor
