yes. it works by distributing the weight over a wider area. If you need to wade through deep snow you can only go a little way before your heart is pounding and you are panting. Based on the dogs last night, I fared much better then they did. They slept from supper on. All they did was get up, stretch, groan, and flop down again![]()
