no idea. I think it's one of those things that people do just 'because'. Perhaps it's new york that does it. They also had that event where everyone in Grand Central Station froze for about a minute or so.

Well forgive me but ... just because someone does something out of the ordinary (or plain stupid) I don't tend to follow their lead. Seems at least 3000 New Yorkers don't have minds of their own.

Can't it just be for fun? What's wrong with doing something out of the ordinary just for fun? I would do it just for something different wild, crazy and fun...not because I don't have a mind of my own but because it seems crazy enough and looks like it might be fun.
