Default You know you're overtired when...

As I've posted before, I run an entertainment company with a friend of mine. We've been hitting it pretty hard lately. I haven't even had time to do any photography other than events...

I feel like I am running on empty right now. Sitting in the office at the club right now having a red bull and some Grey Goose. Sleeping out here @ a hotel tonite so we decided to unload on this crowd and I'm taking a break, Don't have to worry about driving, thank God...

Of the last 9 days my boy DJ Chrome and I have done 8 events covering about 3000kms in the Hummer H2. Not much sleep. Averaging 2 hrs out of an available 24...

I had an appt this morning at 9 that I could not miss, no matter what. I zombie walked through the door at 530 this morning and fell into bed for 2 hrs sleep without getting undressed. Woke up, stripped down, walked to the bathroom and got in the shower. I was soaped up etc and when I went to wash my feet, realized that I still had my socks on...

I came out of the shower, dried off, I knew I had to a) shave and b) style the hairs on my head.

    What do I do?

Grab the shaving cream, put a liberal amount on my hand and started to style my hair.

Yup. Got back in the shower for another few minutes saying "****. I'm tired."

Been a long day and we're doing event 9 tonite, thank God I can sleep in tomorrow before tomorrow nights show... May God have sweet mercy on the person who wakes me up tomorrow... It'll probably be Chrome, 'Bro, Can't sleep. What doin? Want breakfast?' to which I will respond '**** off and die!!! Where we goin? half hour...'

The other night I was so tired, I spent the night at a bartenders place that I've known for years from my bartending days... Couple hrs later when we got up, I called her by her dogs name... Her name is Cloe, her dogs name is Chelsea... I swear I lost a year or two off my life with the look I received...

I wasn't a drummer ever, used to be a piper though. Until my athsma got the better of me.

Don't worry MA, it won't. Actually got a post on Facebook from her yesterday saying if I tell her she has a nice body she'll still hold it against me... Her dog however, is a really cool mutt. She didn't really adopt the dog, she just kind of moved on in one day. Cloe started with just calling her Mutt but didn't feel it was right, being a Chelsea FC fan, which this Man U fan tries not to hold a grudge for, she named her Chelsea.

I was sitting the other day at a restaurant/bar that I frequent, almost daily for dinner and a couple drinks, if I'm not cooking for more than myself, I go out to eat. The server, Darnelle, a wonderful beautiful girl that I have had the opportunity to get to know very well, unfortunately for me a married woman, accused me of being insane with the schedule I've been keeping lately. I told her this.

"I used to live a slow life saying, someday I will do this or that. I worked my job and went home and went about my semi boring life. Then I was diagnosed with cancer. I went through the worst and most painful couple yrs of my life and for whatever reason I was given a second chance. I'm here to have as much fun as I can and to help as many people as I can to have as much fun as they can have while I am stuck in this place."

She just nodded and gave me a hug.

I so wish that girl wasn't married. She could probably tie me down... not just up.
