I appreciate the sentiment here and Have great respect for all those who gave their lives in WWII but it seems to me we forgot pretty soon after the big H was deleted. Sure it's not an all out schoolyard brawl anymore just localized death and destruction at random intervals planet wide. The game is the same just uses a different formula. Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Gaza, Kosovo etc. It seems to me we've learned very little and forgotten much. It is a frustrating sore spot with me because I believe in my heart of heart that the formula of world war will be put back in the mixing bowl at some point in the not too distant future. Though many among us may not forget it will unfortunately not dull the appetites of those in power to engage us once again to stomp the opposition back to the stonage.
