    Exclamation Need an advice.

I was trying to figure out best way to learn about photography, best way for my case.
I can't take full time courses, probably some evening classes, so I was wondering if online courses can help or I better study on my own ?
I can learn from here (forum, blog, podcasts), videopodacsts, books and some skilled friends, and from a photo club (I just enrolled in North Shore photographic Society, a very active club - Maybe Michaelaw knows something about it).

So, does it worth it to do some courses online, or I better spend those money on lenses ?

    Thank you
    Lovin

Im willing to say there isnt much else you can learn through actual classes. If given the proper effort in either one, you will come out with the same end result. I noticed that most of college classes I took, could have been self taught had I bought the book. In the end I think it boils down to good comprehension of the subject, and then turning that into results through experience. In the end, it comes down to actual field experience. You can learn every specification about your car, but better driving comes through real world experience.
As an art, I feel that it is best to be self taught anyways. Its always good to have influences, but they should be taken and learned with your own interpretation, and not taken as concrete rules. My .02 during a struggling economic period...haha

Photography is more than just taking a picture and freezing the action, or leaving the shutter open. It is more than orchestrating the image with the stroke of a brush. Its the realization and explanation that reality is an isolated experience in which only a specific individual can comprehend during any given time period. - Your Truly!
