Photography is more than just taking a picture and freezing the action, or leaving the shutter open. It is more than orchestrating the image with the stroke of a brush. Its the realization and explanation that reality is an isolated experience in which only a specific individual can comprehend during any given time period. - Your Truly!

60's and 70s are ma thang- hendrix, canned heat, joplin, grateful dead, beatles, stones, the who, led zep, steppenwolf, BTO, and some of my faves are classics like bad company- can't get enough of your love and stay with me by rod stewart and the faces, and many many more.....
But I'm with Gem's tastes on more current stuff....
And to that I'll add I don't Want to Be - Gavin DeGraw and Los Lonely Boys Heaven...but I don't listen to the radio much so thankfully these haven't been overplayed for me....
I like the songs that make my skin feel all tingley and like my hair is standing up
I love Rufus Wainwright and Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah but k.d. lang's rendition is probably the best out there.
k.d. on you tube
I have been listening to Lee Aaron, "My Friends" a little Mercury Rev and for those who live in Alberta pick up a case of Traditional for the Big Rock Untapped 2 c.d. It has some of the best music you have never heard.
F8, Just downloaded those songs and I have to agree we're on the same wavelength
Speaking of Alberta....
Paul Brandt - Alberta Bound
Doesn't it just pull on your heartstrings?
