AlexisonFire - The Northern, now this was a band I could tolerate to see live and my daughter and her boyfriend were huge fans so I didn't mind them but would not go out of way to hear band. I heard this song the Northern by them and they have matured in so many ways in song writing, vocals, lyrics, everything. It is very heavy, Canadian Screamo Metal but what a killer tune.

Elephant Riders - a most underappreciated Clutch album.

Jesus was an architect previous to his career as a prophet.
Classic. do you listen to Samael? If you like Ministry, you'll probably dig them, too. Swiss industrial black metal if you can believe that.
Anyway...I've got Spritual Beggars On Fire on. Love JB. Hope he can keep the two bands going. hell, if Amott can (what's he up to, 3 bands?), why not JB?
Samael they been around for what seems forever now lol, yes I listen to them. Really enjoy Norwegian Death Metal or Black Metal is what they call it now I think, they seem just to out metal most everyone and they take their Death Metal sh** seriously there. Spiritual Beggars I have yet to here, will be shortly though.

Yah Samael is ancient (lol). And I think the northerners are mostly black metal guys...death metal being more of a Florida-origin thing (Chuck S and Death). I'm not a bm or a dm lover, I'm a doom/stoner metalhead mostly, with roots in thrash, BHM and NWOBHM.
SB = Swedish. They've got JB from Grand Magus (more doom than stoner) singing for them now. I like both bands.
First time I saw Ministry was in Chicago at Wax Trax Records and they were recording, what I don't recall but I still have the patch that was cut out of the tshirt after it fell apart that I was given, I had just started my recording studio and was doing some engineering work for Wax Trax just minor stuff but was the first label to use me for anything. I tend to lean toward the Norwegian Metal then the American scene although I do find some phenomenal bands out of the States. I like In Flames, Celtic Frost, Asphyx, etc. Then I listen to pretty much most genres of music, not one or the other, but I was Hard Core gutter punk growing up, Dayglo Abortions, Battered Wives, DOA, Black Flag, etc.

ABD AL MALIK - 12 Septembre 2001
I am a huge lover of French R&B/Hip Hop/Rap Soul, etc. This is one of those songs that I find why my attraction to French Rap is usually the passion and the topic, they have their wanna be "Gagsta's" but so much more of it is political and social. This song is just about a Muslim who was doing nothing Setermbre 11 2001, but as of Septembre 12 he was a gultly as those who flew the planes into the buildings and yet they get they blame. 1+ billion Muslims get blamed for the actions of maybe a few dozen.
English Lyrics: Its a R&B flow, so excuse the lack of structure.
I began to rap before 9/11 My flow was already crazy when World Trade Center disappeared I was really shocked and I swear That if my faith wasnt so strong I would be ashamed to be Muslim After that, we had to show the rest of the world That we were only men That even though some of us are crazy, the majority doesnt mix up politics with religion I began to rap before 9/11 My flow was already crazy when World Trade Center disappeared After 9/11, we were being accused They asked themselves maybe they are all terrorists? Cannons began to destroy Bagdad, people died in Spain Our leaders began to complain And Switzerland, in a TV show, mixed up politics with religion I began to rap before 9/11 My flow was already crazy when World Trade Center disappeared After that, I discovered suspicion Suspicion is when someone is afraid And the others dont try to help him feel better Its when the one you were supposed to know becomes the one you dont know The Netherlands murdered a child of a famous artist France continued to say No Europe has split into 2 parts: those Those and the others who didnt want to mix up politics with religion I began to rap before 9/11 My flow was already crazy when World Trade Center disappeared This September 2001 I was convinced That nothing will be like before any more In a way, it was wonderful: the bean left the rye grass forever And I began to preach for peace So that all the people would consider themselves Humans Humans which, of course, wont mix up politics with religion We were going to deconstruct everything Deconstruct with three D as Deleuze, Derrida and Debré Neither fundamentalists nor extremists of the Islam or of the Laicisms But all these explanations begin to be boring Too complicated anyway And to speak about me, I can say you that I dont mix up politics with religion By the way, in the same month and the one that came after the new album of Jay-Z : Blueprint had been released. A masterpiece Also the 1st album of Wallen : ŕ force de vivre. My wife who says no. And the book by Jonathan Frenzen : The Corrections had been published And me who did almost nothing, just working hard at home Like someone who is changing the nappy of his little boy
