DJ Champion - Alive Again
Indie Quebec Rockers DJ Champion have a nice heavy straight ahead loud rock sound. 4 Guitar Players, One Bassist, One Vocalist (with backing vocals by other band members) and no drummer but the use a drum machine is done so well unless you see the video you would not even know they did not employ the use of a drummer.

WTG, he should enjoy them they put on a great show. Never too young to expose them to music live. Not sure if you brought him to a concert before but if you haven't just make sure you bring ear plugs for him just incase it is too loud and Billy Talent like to play very loud. Just something I say to all parents I know who are taking their kids to their first concert and until they hit 15 or 16 think it is a good idea to have them on hand. I always bring a few pairs with me although I never use them I have given them out to parents who have not thought or forgot to bring some.

Mammoth Volume - Swedish retro-heavy rock band. Versatile and surprising. I dig these guys.
