I rarely ever send anything by mail and now I know why. I sent Jas a photo last week as part of the photo exchange we are doing. I get home and this looked like garbage was in my mail box, well it was the photo I sent the whole package looked like it had been shredded in a shredder. The only barely readable part was the return address on the outside corner. I phoned them up and complained and they actually said how did I know it was them? Well I went to the post office and mailed it and it was never delivered so the only people who handled it was those clowns. All they offered was to repay for the postage when I re mail it. Just glad I can print and I don't have to take it elsewhere or there would be a problem getting it before Christmas. Just my rant.

That does suck A.L....but why did they send it back to you?

If it helps....I always put 2 fragile stickers on both sides of the envelope containing prints that I send through the mail.
I also write (S.V.P. Ne Pliez pas - Please do not bend) on both sides of the envelope. The envelope itself is always made of or filled with sturdy cardboard.

NO!...I won't have it! Canada post gets my bills to me without shredding or error, never a delivery mistake or crinkled corner. I guess if you resend it you could place a "Royal Bank" logo on it somewhere

You biggest problem is that you mailed something just skinny enough (or actually not skinny enough) to go through the rollers. The rollers are what tears up the envelope because it is too bulky for normal mail. As Marko said, add double cardboard on each side to make it too wide to go through the rollers, and it will have to be mailed another way (Priority Mail here in the US).
