Congratulations. Did you get the f1.8 or the f1.4. The one thing I noticed with my f1.4 is that you have a lot less DOF than you think. I find I'm taking pictures at f2.8 for more to get enough DOF.

I got the 1.8. It was more 'budget friendly'

Yep! Absolutely sounds like fun. I plan on making a day of it. Up at 6:30am or so and home after sunset if I can handle it. Tuesday or Wednesday work for me. I plan to head to the south shore and meet up with you at some point. What works for you? You can email me for details.
