I've predicted the collapse of the US economy and If people don't see that coming, I can't help them of course the euro will probably go first. When the US applies and receives two trillion dollar Mastercards to pay of it's Visa debt when it's basically unemployed then that's just dumb economics. You couldn't get away with it, I couldn't get away with it but then we can't print up our own money can we

The US politicians and law makers are too busy trying to make themselves look good in the eyes of the public for the upcoming elections to bother with dealing with the country's economic woes....in my opinion.
The odd thing is to me, so much of public seems to be simply accepting what the government is selling as you just don't hear of citizens opposing mismanagement by standing up, unifying, forming peaceful protests to demand that the government get its proverbial economic s%h#i$t together and address the real problem.
Perhaps it is time?

I think what you are missing, casil, is that for a populace that has never been so connected we are horribly uninformed. I read an article in our local paper today - Nova Scotia doles out $2.3m in merit pay - Front - TheChronicleHerald.ca - and then I read the comments from the public that were attached to the article. Most of them are blaming our NDP government for giving out merit pay to overpaid, underworked civil servants who don't deserve it and believe that the NDP should be kicked out for doing it.

Now, I can't say 100% that every individual who gets merit pay deserves it as I know there is favourtism but I would say that most of the recipients are people that are doing an excellent job and deserve some recognition for it. I can also tell you that the concept of merit pay was brought in at least 10 years ago, well before the NDP got elected in this province. So, for the Liberal opposition to oppose it is ridiculous as it was probably brought in under their government. They are just piling on the bandwagon to make it look bad for the NDP.

I bet you that the rest of the people are more concerned about what happened last week on Big Brother.

Though it's all guesswork from watching patterns, I have a bad feeling about Fiji and or Japan...This has zero to do with CME's though, just an uneducated guess based on patterns I see as potentially threatening
