A very big congrat's go out to Bambi, Casil, A.L., and Marko. Looks like we started a trend here, and they say the housing market is dead. Looks like we are keeping it alive and well just with members of this board.
Best thing is, sounds like a lot of people here are getting exactly what they have dreamed of for a long time. this is the best news of all actually. Always love to hear good news in these trying times.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

well I'm back! The move is almost complete- just a few odds and ends to be given to charity and stuff to take to the dump. Moving into a smaller house is an excellent way to get rid of the clutter in your life. You find out what's critical and get rid of the rest. I can't begin to describe the feeling of being out of town (and I lived in a small town). I love getting up and hearing the birds- there are dozens of swallows swooping around in the morning. overall the move went well but I did have to go and buy a new box spring for our bed- ours wouldn't go up the stairs!! The nice thing about living in a small community is you can go in to the furniture store, buy a split box spring and pick it up that same day
The first night in the house I went outside and saw this:

I took it as a good omen.

Awesome! Glad to hear you're getting all settled and a lovely sunset to boot. Excellent!
