I just discovered the keyboard short cuts in Flickr:

keyboard shortcuts: ← previous photo → next photo L view in light box F favorite < scroll film strip left > scroll film strip right

They've been listed at the bottom of the page for who knows how long

Probably. I don't often pop them up into the lightbox with the "L" key or mark them as a favourite with the "F" key but I very often use the previous next keys to browse through a set.
