    Default My Dad

I was wistfully tracking some old family history tonight mostly about my dad whom I never met. Normally I get very little info. All I've ever had to go on is trite info from mom. Anyway, I came across this Discovery forum tonight and they were discussing "Dad!" I signed up to the forum as "bus drivers son" There is a post from someone who claims my dad was her Nans husband. Hey, if he ain't dead, I might get lucky and find out more about him

Good luck! I have used many sites to do the same for my history..lucky enough to have it back to the mid 1600's to one man but nothing past that. A trip to England is needed for that..and that is being lucky.

Very neat story of your dad! Good luck again!

well that would be interesting. I last saw my dad when I was 3. At 18 I sought him out and we were able to have a good relationship until he passed away about 12 years ago.

Good Luck in your search, I hope u find him. I never met my dad until 2 years ago. My cousin started a family Genealogy web sight, so after searching for years, one day his picture popped up. I learned through the sight I had a brother and Sister. I still remember it like it was yesterday walking home from the Library( using there computer) balling my eyes out, after seeing pics of my brother! We look identical!
I have a great relationship with all of them, its been one of the best things in my life.

Thanks all...I don't give a rats petunia if I meet him or not as he was just Dad by donation. The man who raised me was the man and even my natural father could never strip "Percy Wollen" of the "Dad" title. I am however curious to learn more about the man as well as "Jack Cade" who was a big old highway robber back in the horse and cart days
