This is an interesting timeline of the Toronto skyline from 1875 through the decades and what it may look like in 2014 with all the new building going on. I always wonder where all these people and all this money is coming from, seems we get bigger and bigger and there seems to be no end in sight. With urban renewal which I am a big proponent of rather than build out we are building up. Just need to be careful we don't destroy our historical buildings like we did in the 50' and 60's and be left with no heritage. Toronto does not have a good record for preserving our historical buildings, seems to be changing just hope it changes enough before they lay waste to our past. You know your getting on in age when you recall most of the buildings going up and the huge change in the last half century.
The transformation of Toronto's skyline from 1880 to today
Edit: With the many thousands of photos I have of the City Skyline I thought I would throw this in, was taken last Friday or something I think. One of a million photos of it, if you live here and take photos you more than likely have several dozen shots of it since it is so easy to do.
