so Ed and I finally did it. We bought a farm. Well not a farm. A house and some land. it's all part of the grand dream to move to the country (well more country then we are now). We will be building a barn and I will be able to have my horse at home rather then pay board and have all that stress.

Oh and tomorrow we are leaving for Quebec to take Alec to the Military college. So what can I say my life is a bit busy these days.

it consists of 18 acres of pasture/woods.
now all I need is fencing, a barn, riding ring......... forget a baby shower, I need a new farm owner shower!!! :lol:

it has a woodlot so we will likely be bringing someone with a portable sawmill to cut some boards. That's allows us to keep the designation as a woodlot and benefits us with fencing materials

WOW! This is excellent news B! What a great little home you will have. I am so happy for you. Congrats to you and Ed on your new little piece of paradise. The dogs will love it I know!

Awesome. Congratulations on your new home. I hate moving but it's always nice when you finally get settled though it sounds like you'll be "unsettled" for a while after you move in
