    This is a very cool long exposure by taffy in the thread Clevedon Beach

    I really like the moody feel to this well composed shot and the way the light is glinting off some of the rocks.

    I have to nominate this one by Dan Newcomb from Short Eared Owls. It was hard to choose but the action and intensity of these eyes is incredible

    KMunroe's kingfishers thread is a great set but I love this one the most. The catch light in the eye, the detail in the feathers the delicious bokeh background... just awesome!

    Seems to be a bird month! Mad Aussie's Soaring Free is just absolutely lovely. The back lighting combined with a well exposed front is amazing.
