    I have to add some competition to my shot though. Here's Bambi's Winter Woods

    I just really like the layers. A bright patch of snow with a dark tree line and another bright patch of snow with more dark trees in the background. Very cool.

    I could not choose between these two so am posting both. The female cardinal just doesn't get the attention she deserves. People always fussing and awing over her mate.

    Thanks so much for the nod. I appreciate it. I would also agree about the females. Their colouring often times has a painted quality to it which I just love.
