"You have to milk the cow quite a lot, and get plenty of milk to get a little cheese." Henri Cartier-Bresson from The Decisive Moment.
Here's the cropped version of "Walkway into Heaven" by Lizardqing. This picture has it all, great lighting, contrast, composition. Very nicely captured interesting foreground, mid ground, and background.

Also really loved this photo, "Pink Morning" by Matt K. Wonderful color, and overall very interesting subject.

Thanks Realist, much appreciated ...

Would like to nominate Michealaw"s "Never leafing home" I really like the colours in it.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
Only 3 nominations in December? Isn't anyone shooting? Or is it just that no one thinks to nominate images they think are great? There must have been a few... time to go hunting... I know I've not been very busy on the site this past month, sorry.
Huge Owl by HillBillyGirl deserved more than just a kudos... it deserved a nomination but I was lazy.
Well one more I'll slip in here then. From thoughton's post "Another Day in Hong Kong," "Pottinger Street Steps."
Love the processing on all the black and white's, but I had to decide which I liked best. I picked this one, because I like the expression on the woman's face. Looks like she has something on her mind, and it makes you wonder what she's thinking. The picture is focused, and makes you think.
