I watched the first one but when I watch I find it hard to see the "triangle" and "loop". I feel like I just don't know what I'm looking at...more learning to do...

Iggy ... here's a shot to show the triangle. As the lighting is moved around (remaining high though) a shadow forms on the side of the face (shadow from nose meets shadow on cheek ... 'closing the loop') and a triangle of light is left on the cheek bone. This is a sign of good Rembrandt Lighting.

Thanks for clarifying. I thought that's what he was talking about but I wasn't really sure. I found that while he described what he was doing fairly well he seemed a little too advanced for me to keep up. Maybe I just need to watch it a couple of times.
