    Default Hey now...

    I'm AJ, currently living in Toronto, but moving to Washington State next month. I decided to join this forum after listening to podcast #46 which was really informative, since I'm guilty of having too many distracting elements in my photos and like to improve on that.

    I randomly purchased a Nikon D40 about six months ago and consequently became interested in digital photography. At the moment I'm learning to shoot with a D300.

    From what I've read so far, this forum looks like it has a wealth of information and knowledgeable photographers, and I'm looking forward to participating in the various discussions
