    Default Hello from Ontario!

    Just registered, getting more and more interested in the world of digital photography. Purchased my first "real" camera yesterday (Canon Rebel XSI), which is a huge step up from my Sony Cybershot 4.1 ! LOL. I found this forum, and joined in hopes that I can educate myself a bit, read up on photography, and perhaps meet others with the same interests. Looking forward to spending a few hours (maybe each day) on this site!! This pic was taken days ago with the crappy Sony Cybershot, which I added special effects to..and would LOVE to learn how to use programs like PhotoShop to turn my plain Jane photos into a work of art! I LOVE B&W pics!! I like photographing flowers, landscape, and some action shots (kids playing hockey, soccer..etc). Hopefully the next pics I post will look better (much improved) with the new camera!
