Default Hi from the Gold Coast Australia

Hi all, finally got around to joining up after downloading Marko's podcasts around a month ago.
While I've always had a digital p&s since 2003, and a couple of film p&s's prior to that, i finally bought myself a DSLR (450d, 50mm 1.8 and tamron 28-300) in June 2009, and I'm very much enjoying it, so much so that i just recently purchased a new 7d, sigma 10-20, 17-70 and 70-200, already I've racked up over 18,000 clicks on the 450, and over 12,500 on the 7d, which is easily done when shooting the kids footy games, at the skate park, and attempting to shoot birds, I also own a car detailing business, so i tend to shoot quite a few of my jobs.
Listening to podcasts all day while working, and looking on the net has helped with the technical side of things, but getting the artistic side of photography is tough, just have too keep looking at, and taking photos i guess.
Anyway, i look forward to learning as much as possible, and maybe one day I'll be able to help others.
OK, I'm off to look through the forum.

please don't hold back on the C&C, otherwise how can i learn.
