Hi, my is name Vladimir and I am doing my photography for many years. I am from Montreal, Quebec. Digital photography I really started about 4 years ago and I got really in to it about 3 years ago. Before that I was a film photographer and loved my Kodak. I am not professional photographer and probably wont become one in the future but I really do like it and I love to get professional results out of my hobby. So far I am doing OK I think because I still have some money at the end of the month to take my lovely wife to the restaurant or to buy my kids something they need or they like. Photography is very expensive and fast changing industry and I found keeping up with it is destructing. I only buy good expensive staff and if I can't afford it I don't buy it. Whit the few years I got my gear. Here is my gear:
1.) I own Canon 1Ds Mark III which I got really chip from some one who cannot do photography anymore because of the health reasons. Otherwise I wouldn't even consider buying it. Before that I had Canon 40D.
2.) Also I own Sigma APO 180mm Macro lens.
3.) Canon EF 24-70mm L 2.8
4.) Sigma APO EX 50mm 1.4 (I love to get my hands on APO EX Sigma 30mm for low light).
5.) Canon 70-200mm 2.8 L IS
6.) Canon EF 300mm L IS
7.) Tamron 1.4x Pro Teleconverter and few other accessories.

Yes, definitely nice stuff. What software are you using for all of your post processing - looks like you do it pretty extensively.

Hi again! I simply use PS CS4 for Windows. I am using it now for a wile. Also I like to use Corel and for the graphic layout staff I use Xara Extreme. Sometimes I use PS plug-ins. For the B&W I use Silver FX Pro by Nik Software and I have a Portraiture for the portraits which I don't publish a lot publicly. I love PS CS4 and custom tasks and brushes. It works very well. On the Muza photograph I have changed only 4 settings and that's it. I played with curves, contrast, briniest and hue/saturation and it was done. It was a good photo to begin with. Sometimes you have to work with what you have and then you have to make a candy out of you know what. Photos like this one for example:

If you would see an original picture then you will go WOW! When you get a good shot it needs very little work to do. I know which some of my pictures are over done but they ware meant to be that way because I was making them for the posters and posters are a bit different. Not every picture can be a poster. It has to have beginning and the end and a lot of photos don't have that although look good as photographs. I hope that explains a bit. Thanks again guys.
