"You have to milk the cow quite a lot, and get plenty of milk to get a little cheese." Henri Cartier-Bresson from The Decisive Moment.
Thanks, folks for the warm welcome. Back in the 70's, I shot a lot of film and did B&W darkroom work. Now that I'm retired, I'm getting back into the hobby. Currently, I'm shooting a Nikon D300 w/ their 18-200mm and a Tamron 200-400. I'm finding the podcast a wonderful way to recall the basics (long unused) as well as introduction to the digital world. Boy - what a difference between the wet lab and the dig lab!
I've been spending the past 2 years digitizing some 20,000 negative, print, and slide images I've taken around the world.... setting up folders by year/month of the shot. (That particular method seems to be working better for me than organizing by subject or location. Am looking into Adobe Lightroom to see if it can help me in the way of applying keywords to aid in searches.
Kindest regards to all. Marko, keep up the great work!

Photography is more than just taking a picture and freezing the action, or leaving the shutter open. It is more than orchestrating the image with the stroke of a brush. Its the realization and explanation that reality is an isolated experience in which only a specific individual can comprehend during any given time period. - Your Truly!
