I am an amature.

Photography as a serious hobby started for me in 2008 with a birth of my youngest son. As many parents I was frustrated with blury baby pictures and lost shot opportunities. Also we were fed up with going to retail photo studios spending each time $200 and still being unhappy with the results. So I took the matter in my own hands and started being a serious photo enthusiast (bought expensive camera :-) ).

As a side product of my hobby I ended up with many nice landscape pictures that I took during my business travel. And since I travelled to London and Paris I have a lot of those. Now I am temporarily working in Paris and taking pictures during my travel to different countries.

I had to do something with so many pictures, so I’ve made a website www.davydovphoto.com. Lately I have added a new collection to my store called “Western Europe” with all the best shots of Western Europe I’ve got.

I shoot in RAW and manual only, then post-process every shot. Most of my shots are “reporting” style. Lately I’ve been interested in making portraits on location with flashes.
