Just like to say hello.

i've been tuning i since a while now and learning a lot for everyone, especially from Marko.

Just these and othert pods ( sorry Marko, your not alone)

But i have a question which might be useful.

I try to shoot some portraits this weekend onto two backgrounds in my DIY studio. one black drop which came out pretty good, the white one didn't work for me. It showed a lot of grey areas at the wrinkles.
I try to shoot them away with more light, but then the model ( my wife) got a bit of a glare over her. How do you handle that.
( she was standing about 1 meter of the backstand

A couple of key questions to help you out - How are you lighting the bkgd and what ratio is the bkgd to the main light? it should be no more than 2 on a white one.

Also having the model be another couple of feet farther from the bkgd will help.

Marko,

I think that the wrinkles let me overpower the bkgd and the model was in that case to near and she got overflown with return reflected light.
Due to the fact that is is a DIY studio in a mobile set-up,
i'll try and do it over next weekend ( it's a hobby which has to be funded with normal work)

i'll keep you posted on the results
